Silver coins are available in a wide range of products.

 

Silver coins are often included in the gold Proof Sets and Special Launches. Individual Silver Proof coins are presented in a dark blue leatherette box, while Silver Uncirculated coins are presented in a dark blue material pouch.

Special Silver Medallions were released for the Soccer World Cup 2010. These feature the official Mascot, Trophy and Logo of the World Cup. These medallions are an exception as the Silver range is exclusively Legal Tender.

 

The Silver range is available in single coins (Silver Proof & Uncirculated), Prestige Sets, Proof Sets and Combination Sets. On occasion the South African Mint will release special products as well, often to commemorate a special event or award.
